Domain Registration Agreement

1. Registration Obligations

When registering a domain name through our services, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, including your contact, administrative, technical, and billing information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of this information and updating it promptly whenever changes occur. You are also responsible for maintaining valid payment information in your account when automatic renewal is enabled.

2. Domain Ownership

When a domain name is registered through our services, the registrant retains the rights associated with the domain name, subject to this Agreement, the policies of the applicable registrar and registry, ICANN requirements where applicable, and applicable laws and regulations.

Domain registration does not constitute permanent ownership of a domain name. Your right to use the domain remains subject to maintaining an active registration and complying with all applicable registration requirements.

3.Domain Renewals and Automatic Renewal

You are responsible for ensuring that your domain name remains active and is renewed before its expiration date.

To help prevent accidental expiration or loss of a domain name, domains configured for automatic renewal may be processed approximately 2 to 3 days before the official expiration or renewal date.

This advance processing is intended to provide sufficient time for the renewal transaction to be completed and to reduce the risk of service interruption, expiration, or loss of the domain name.

Renewal reminders may be sent through our automated system before the renewal is processed. These notices provide an opportunity to review your domain and renewal preferences.

If you do not wish to renew a domain name, you must disable automatic renewal, submit a cancellation request, or otherwise update the applicable domain renewal settings before the renewal transaction is processed.

We strongly recommend taking action as soon as you receive the first renewal reminder rather than waiting until the domain’s expiration date.

Failure to cancel or disable renewal before the transaction is processed may result in the domain being renewed and the corresponding renewal charge becoming due and non-refundable.

4. Domain Registration and Renewal Payments — No Refunds

All domain name registration and renewal transactions are final and non-refundable once processed.

When you purchase or renew a domain through our services, the registration or renewal request may be immediately submitted to a third-party domain registrar, registry, reseller, or domain provider.

These providers may include registrars and domain service providers such as eNom, GoDaddy, or other domain registration partners and suppliers.

Once a domain registration or renewal transaction has been submitted and processed, the associated registrar or supplier generally does not provide UnicyCloud with the ability to reverse or refund that transaction.

For this reason, UnicyCloud™ does not provide refunds or account credits for completed domain registration or renewal transactions, including situations where:

•  you intended to cancel the domain but did not do so before the renewal was processed;
• you no longer require the domain after it has been renewed;
• automatic renewal remained enabled on your account;
• you did not review or act upon renewal notifications;
• you failed to update your renewal preferences before processing;
• you purchased or renewed the wrong domain name; or
• you changed your mind after the registration or renewal was completed.

it is therefore your responsibility to review your domains, renewal settings, billing information, and renewal notifications before a registration or renewal transaction is processed.

This policy does not limit any refund, cancellation, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Cancellation of Domain Renewal

Cancelling a domain renewal prevents a future renewal only if the cancellation is received and processed before the domain renewal transaction has already been submitted to the applicable registrar or provider.

Cancelling a domain after a renewal payment has already been processed does not cancel, reverse, or refund the completed renewal transaction.

If you do not intend to keep a domain, you should disable automatic renewal or submit your cancellation request immediately after receiving the first automated renewal reminder.

Waiting until the official expiration date may be too late because the renewal may already have been processed in advance to protect the domain from accidental expiration.

6. Domain Expiration and Risk of Loss

If automatic renewal is disabled or a domain is not successfully renewed, the domain may expire.

An expired domain may become unavailable, enter a redemption or recovery period, incur additional recovery fees, or eventually become available for registration by another party.

UnicyCloud™ cannot guarantee the recovery of a domain once it has expired or been released by the applicable registrar or registry.

You are responsible for ensuring that your contact information, billing information, and renewal preferences remain current.

7. Domain Transfers

You may request the transfer of an eligible domain name to another registrar, subject to the policies, eligibility requirements, waiting periods, fees, locks, and other conditions imposed by the applicable registrar, registry, or governing authority. A transfer request does not automatically cancel previously completed registration or renewal charges.

8. WHOIS and Registration Information

Domain registration information is handled according to the requirements of the applicable registrar, registry, ICANN policies where applicable, and applicable privacy laws.

Certain registration information may be protected or redacted from public WHOIS/RDAP records depending on the domain extension, registrar, privacy service, and applicable regulations.

You remain responsible for providing accurate registrant information even when privacy protection or redaction services are used.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes concerning domain ownership, registration, transfer, or use may be subject to the dispute resolution policies of the applicable registrar, registry, ICANN where applicable, and relevant laws.

You agree to comply with the applicable dispute resolution procedures governing your domain name.

10. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate domain-related services when necessary due to violations of this Agreement, non-payment, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, registrar or registry requirements, or activities that threaten the integrity or security of our services.

Suspension or termination does not create an entitlement to a refund for domain registration or renewal transactions that have already been completed.

11. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Domain Registration Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in our services, supplier requirements, registrar or registry policies, operational practices, or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Material changes may be communicated through our website, customer portal, or other appropriate means.

You are responsible for reviewing the current version of this Agreement when registering or renewing domain services.

12. Questions and Support

If you have questions regarding your domain name, renewal status, automatic renewal settings, or this Agreement, please sign in to your account and open a support ticket before your domain renewal is processed.

Important: If you do not wish to renew a domain, please take action as soon as you receive your first renewal reminder. Once a registration or renewal transaction has been processed through our domain provider, it is final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
